I was surprised at how loud the chimes were. I can hear bits of Amazing Grace when they hit just right. The tone is deeper than I expected and very beautiful. This was bought for a Christmas gift, but I may end up keeping for myself, or getting another.

I was a bit skeptical before purchasing this chime but the trustworthy brand and personal history with Woodstock Chimes assured me it would be accurate.
There was no disappointment when the chime arrived. The construction was superb and materials were of decent quality. It should last a long time.
It can be difficult to hear the song because the chime has to swing just right but when it does there is no mistaking it.

One morning this spring I went to the backyard, where I have multiple windchimes that I got at various inexpensive places, and listened. I realized I needed some quality sounds to compliment the spring wind. I went to Amazon and was able to put in the type of sound I wanted and get a nice selection to choose from and I got Amazing Grace. Do I hear anything that sounds like Amazing Grace, NO but do I hear quality, not tinkling sounds, YES. The quality if fantastic, even my husband said he will sit back there and listen to the chimes and even help them along sometimes when it is windy. By the way, there doesn’t need much wind to sound.

This is a well made, good looking product. It does produce a full bodied sound, so if you live in a “tight” neighborhood you may want to consider your neighbors sensitivity to the sound.

IT MAKES A NICE SOUND –BUT THE CORDS ARE JUST STRING AND THEY WILL ROT OUT IN THE WEATHER — TOO MUCH MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT WONT LAST MORE THEN ONE SEASON
